With no previous knowledge that you had launched a new campaign I sought your site to voice my comment about recent experience with Denorex shampoo. I have used Denorex for at least 20 years because it has always worked best for me and my husband. I preferred the original before you switched to the conditioner added and even ordered some online when the original was impossible to find in stores. I did eventually get used to the conditioner in the shampoo. My problem now is that the shampoo has become so thin that there is no way to get it from your hand to your head without wasting it. I pay upwards of $8.00 per bottle for Denorex and in my opinion that is too much to let it run down the drain. What have you done to it? I thought maybe it was just a fluke but the past two bottles I have purchased have been like this. Shaking the bottle to mix does not help. Please tell me that you’re not helping pay for all of your media by watering down a good shampoo.

I need Denorex shampoo not the 2 in 1. What good is it to shop at Walmart or Wallgreens if they don’t carry every kind you make?!?! Why are they the only ones that sell it now? I actually hate their stores and have never been treated well when shopping there. Why can’t we just order on-line?

The last bottle of Extra Strength Denorex shampoo that I bought was horrible. I have been using Denorex for years and have loved the product. This last bottle that I purchased was extremly watery and did not lather. I did not get the same medicated feeling from it and was disapointed in the dandruff control results.

I just bought Denorex for the first time last week, after a flare up of scalp problems this summer. I tried Head and Shoulders for a couple of weeks, but it didn’t do anything. Then switched to Denorex. It’s great! It is really taking care of my problems.
I do agree with the comment from Ms. Ursprung about the shampoo being too thin, however. It pours right through my hand. Please add some thickener to the product. Thanks!
Agree with previous posters that Denorex has become very hard to find (including WalMart and Walgreens) and that current formulations have been formulated too thin. After many, many years of use, I haven’t found another product that works so well. Please broaden your marketing channels and consider another coal tar viscosity.
However, thin or thick, I’ll buy where I can, so will look at Amazon.com, as you suggest.

Hi i live in England and i first found your shampoo years ago but it was only trail size and it worked like magic on my psoriasis which i have suffered from all my life.Sadly after a while the shampoo disapeared i even requested it from my family doctor but they couldn’t prescribe it for me.
Recently i visited America and my scalp was really bad and painful i did go to walmart and was so happy to see the shampoo on the shelves after a few days of using it my scalp was flake free. It is so wonderful not to have your flakes falling from you constantly thank you. I also wash my body with it and it was like a miracle worker my psoriasis on my skin was going just using that and moisturizer will you please sell it in England or make it easier to buy on line i have looked at it and it will cost me 14.00 English pounds and 6.75 post and package. I am a physician, and recommend the Therapeutic formula to my patients with seborheic dermatitis, including patients with the condition on their face. But I also warn them that the product is extremely hard to find, unless one submits to exorbitant prices and shipping costs when purchased online. Product: A- (I agree; too thin). Marketing: C. Distribution: D-. If inadequate results, I also recommend Nizoral 1% Shampoo (2% is available by prescription).

Denorex Therapeutic is harder to find compared to our Denorex Extra Strength, but we have developed a new concept for Denorex and will be coming out with a kit where you rotate through our different Denorex shampoos. We are very excited about our new Denorex Complete kit that will be on shelves in major retailers next year.
While I can find the Extra Strength Denorex at various stores, the Therapeutic Strength is almost impossible to find. I’m able to find the occasional bottle in some drug stores and groceries while traveling but it’s far from a reliable source. The on-line stores are significantly more expensive when you add in shipping. Walmart only carries the Extra Strength version which doesn’t help me. I need the coal tar formula. Other coal tar shampoos are just too weak to be effective.
Does the success of Denorex have anything to do with it being SLS (Sodium lauryl sulfate) free?
I have suffered for TWO YEARS with seborradic dermatitis. Itching, flaking, and embarassing white flakes on my shoulders. I have tried everything. Prescription shampoos, savs, Neutrogena T-Gels, Head-n-Shoulders. I finally went to Walgreens and in a desperate compulsive purchase — I tried Denorex. I could tell the difference in one washing. I’ve been using it for 4 days now, and my scalp feels so much better and the flakiness has subsided. Thank you for your product and giving me some hope. I’ll keep you posted!

I have suffered for years with scalp psoriasis and agree that rotating shampoos helps. I also use a prescription shampoo called Clobex, but it’s very expensive and after using it constantly it begins to not work as well. The Denorex Theraputic gives me that alternative option and gives the most immediate relief of any of the over the counter products. The cooling and tingling are such a comforting feeling to an irritated scalp. Thanks for a great product.
This is the ONLY thing that I have ever used that helper with my dandruff. Ive tried head and shoulders selson blue garnier fructis and a few other…nothing works even close to how much this does. I dont know why but it has even helped my acne. You guys have a SUPERIOR product. THANK YOU FOR THE HELP!!!
My mom told me about your product for itchy scalp, so I tried it at her total INSISTENCE! I now must thank your product from the bottom of my heart for my new shampoo/conditioner/facewash/and bodywash in one bottle! My adult acne (I am 53) is completely cleared up, my head no longer itches, the few sores on my right forearm (where I lean against a desk when on computer) are healing FINALLY after many months of frustration. I had been using the 2% salicylic acid formulas from other makers – but I am 100% convinced that the extra strength product is the answer to ALL my skin issues. My face is softer and clear, my hair is soft and manageable, and my skin is healing like never before. Thanks – maybe you should also promote your product as an acne medication?
My son has had great results with the Denorex complete kit. What I don’t understand is why the bottle that is used twice a week is the same as the bottle( medicated with zircon) used 4 times a week? We always run out of it way before the other 2 shampoos. I wish it was either larger or sold separately.
I have been looking and looking for Denorex in the stores where I usually buy it and have been unable to find it. Could you direct me to the stores that are now carrying it? I love it and other products do not work as well!

Denorex. Is a great product. I live in Northern Canada and witht the dry weather in the winter comes flakes. Denorex gets rid of them just fine.
I would how ever suggest using a different top on the bottle. It has a slight radius and cannot be tipped upside down to drain without leaning it against something. A minor thing really but a pain reaching around when my head is under the tap.

I have suffered with flakey itchey scalp for way to long now! I have tried so many different shampoos and have come to find out most of the medicated dandruff shampoos don’t really fix the problem , they just cover it up by compacting the dandruff to the scalp. Makes sence because it seems whenever you stop using the shampoo’s almost instantly your condition gets worse.
My doctor recomended for me to try the denorex complete treatment system. Denorex uses salicylic acid, salicylic acid will lift the dandruff off the sclp kind of like how it works for acne! I am a licensed cosmetologist ( hair stylest), this will be my first time trying Denorex,I really hope this works as I have many clients that have this same problem as well and would love to have something good to recomend for them, I will give an update after a few weeks of trying and see how this works!!!!!
